4. Participation in sweepstakes

Participation in sweepstakes on this blog is generally free of charge. The individual terms and conditions of each competition are defined directly and defined under the sweepstakes. This includes any requirements for participation in the competition, as well as the participation period.

In principle, every reader of my blog who lives in Germany is allowed to participate. In the case of underage participants, a written declaration of consent from the legal guardian must be obtained. If the prize is tied to a minimum age by any age restrictions, this defines the minimum age for participation in the competition.

In principle, winners will be notified by e-mail. As part of this notification, we will also be informed about data protection. The following applies that participation in the competition is always voluntary and only after consent for the processing and storage of personal data such as name, e-mail address and IP address, which are collected, for example, when commenting on a contribution (see 3.3.2).

In order to distribute the prize, it is also necessary to provide a valid postal address, which must be sent by e-mail. At this point, I would like to make it clear once again that data transmission on the Internet can be considered as a matter of security and that full protection of this data cannot be achieved. The data is only needed and used by me for the delivery of the profit and then deleted.

Legal redress is excluded.

4.1 Sweepstakes "The Tribute of Panem"

The competition starts on April 21, 2020 at 6:00 a.m. and ends on May 30, 2020 at 12:00. The winners will be drawn immediately afterwards and notified by e-mail. For this purpose, it is mandatory to provide a valid e-mail address when commenting with the solution word under the corresponding article. If the winner does not reply within 72 hours to the mail notifying them of their winnings, a new winner will be drawn. The previously drawn winner will no longer be entitled to the prize.

All persons who are at least 18 years of age at the time of their participation are eligible to participate. In addition, only persons whose postal address is in Germany or Austria are allowed to participate. Participation from other countries is permitted if the participant pays the shipping costs.

In order to enter the competition, the competition question must be answered correctly. The solution must be left as a comment ary under the corresponding contributions (World Book Day or Panem X) in order to participate in the raffle. It is possible to increase the chance of winning with a total of three more lots:

  • Follow @DaydreamerKev on Twitter.
  • Follow Daydreamer-Kev on Facebook.
  • Subscribe to the newsletter.

In order to be able to perceive the increased chance of winning, the comment must have the appropriate options in addition to the solution word. The additional lots will only be awarded to participants who have not yet fulfilled the relevant option before participating – i.e. previously on one of the channels was not a follower of Daydreamer-Kev.

A total of three prize packages will be raffled off, all of which have the same content: a jute bag, stickers and a button, and Volume 1 "The Tribute of Panem – Deadly Games". If you have won one of the three packages, it is not possible to win another package with another lot, even if you have received several lots due to the above options.

The winnings cannot be exchanged or paid out in cash. It is not possible to transfer the prize to another person. Legal redress is excluded.
